Description

Middle Woodbatch Farm is a small family run livestock farm that dates back to the 1700's. It is located 1 1/2 miles from the small market town of Bishop's Castle in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are surrounded by an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways that include the Shropshire Way , this comes right through our farmyard. We are also a stones throw from the Kerry Ridgeway and Offas Dyke and the Longmynd and the Jack Mytton Way.

Our central location makes a great place for visiting places such as Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Church Stretton and the Welsh Marches.

Our secluded rural location makes us the ideal place for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders, or for people to come and watch the abundance of bird and wildlife that surrounds us.

If you like camping but not cooking why not treat yourself to a home cooked breakfast in the farmhouse kitchen, using only the best home grown and local produce. Our campsite has new shower and toilet facilities and a small kitchen with all mod cons.

Directions

From Shrewsbury and A5, take the A488 to Bishop's Castle. Once there, turn right at 2nd town sign, pass the school and turn left just after the church. After 220 metres turn left onto Woodbatch Rd follow for 2.5k to Middle Woodbatch.
