Middle Woodbatch farm is a small family run livestock farm, that dates back to the 1700's. It is located 1 1/2 miles from the small market town of Bishop's Castle, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Middle Woodbatch farm is a small family run livestock farm, that dates back to the 1700's. It is located 1 1/2 miles from the small market town of Bishop's Castle, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are surrounded by an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways, that include the Shropshire Way, this comes right through our farmyard. We are also a stone's throw from the Kerry Ridgeway and the Offa's Dyke, the Long Mynd and the Jack Mytton Way.

A great central location to explore Ludlow. Church Stretton, the Welsh Marches and Shrewsbury. Also why not bring your horse on holiday, stabling and turnout available.

Our secluded rural location also makes us the ideal place to come and watch the abundance of bird and wildlife that surround us.

A great place for families (special child rates). After an enjoyable days walking, riding or cycling, should you wish to dine with us in the evening, we offer an extensive evening meal menu. Using only the best home grown and local produce.

Directions

From Shrewsbury and A5 take the A488 to Bishop's Castle. Once there turn right at 2nd town sign, pass the school and turn left just after the church. After 220 metres turn left onto Woodbatch Rd and follow for 2.5k to Middle Woodbatch.
