Description
Chris and George Brandon-Lodge invite you to stay at their farmhouse bed and breakfast in its glorious hilltop setting in the Shropshire Hills Environmentally Sensitive Area.
Rooms with a view
It is an ideal place to stay for anyone who loves the peace of the countryside and has some of the best views in Shropshire.
You can leave your car at the farm and find easy or more challenging walks on the surrounding hills which are part of the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. On clear nights the full majesty of the night sky can be appreciated free of light pollution.
Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Ironbridge are all around 30 minutes away by car.
The unspoiled beauty of this part of the border country has a wealth of bird life including buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers and ravens - frequently seen performing their aerobatics above the farm - and a big variety of song-birds.
The Long Mynd is only a short distance away by car and there are several good pubs within easy reach for eating out.
North Hill Farm is open all year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Red Kite is our new stone-built cottage room. Luxury accommodation which includes a kitchen so that guests may cook and enjoy some of the wonderful produce Shropshire has to offer. It has a private terrace facing Caer Caradoc. This suite is ideal for a perfect honeymoon hideaway or to get away from it all at Christmas.
Chaffinch is our courtyard room, a double-bedded en suite room with a wonderful view of the valley. Both these rooms are self-contained and guests come into the house for breakfast.
We also have one double and one twin-bedded room, both with private bathrooms and a single with private bathroom.
The accommodation is non-smoking.
Well-behaved, clean dogs are welcome and
kennels are available if preferred. There is usually an empty field where the dogs can be let off the lead for a romp. There is a charge of £2 per night for dogs.
